AMP Features
Array AMP for Monitoring & Management

Deep Visibility
Get a real-time view of user behaviors for audit, analysis and forensics purposes, as well as device and service statuses for at-a-glance visualization of trends and performance issues. History logs provide the ability to ‘look back’ if needed.

Streamlined Management
Manage multiple Array devices in local or distributed data centers from a central point of control. View and apply licenses as needed, and access devices’ management consoles, all through a convenient dashboard.

Configure & Update with Ease
AMP automatically backs up configurations of managed devices, and templates can be created and edited from the stored files, then applied to one or more devices. Compliance checking analyzes and displays differences.

Task Management
Many operations performed through AMP are performed in asynchronous mode and completed in the background. If a task is interrupted for any reason, AMP automatically restarts it when resources again become available.
AppVelocity
AppVelocity is Array’s core ADC feature set included with every APV Series physical appliance and vAPV virtual appliance; server load balancing and link load balancing ensure application uptime in the event that servers or ISP links become overburdened or unresponsive.
Connection multiplexing, dynamic caching, adaptive compression and traffic shaping optimize and accelerate Web and application performance while significantly improving the efficiency of network connections and back end servers.
Array’s ADCs feature security-hardened hardware, as well as an integrated web application firewall to protect against SQL injection, cross-site scripting and other attacks. In addition, Array’s DDoS protection prevents attacks at the application, session and network layers, and uses machine learning for anomaly detection and automatic configuration of threshold values. Secure Application Access supports secure single sign-on (SSO) with secure authentiction.
Ensure persistence, create Layer-7 content switching rules that direct application traffic to specific servers, and manipulate HTTP headers to enhance application functionality without the need for additional application development.
Use Array’s eCloud™ RESTful API to enable orchestration of app delivery functions from cloud and virtualization management platforms including VMware vRealize Orchestrator, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and OpenStack Neutron LBaaS.
AppVelocity-E, S & More
Available for all APV x800 Series and select APV x600 Series physical appliances, AppVelocity-E includes all of the capabilities of AppVelocity’s core feature set and adds specialized hardware to provide industry-leading throughput and transactions per second for RSA and elliptic curve cryptography (ECC).
ECC delivers improved security with less overhead than RSA encryption. Purpose-built AppVelocity-E appliances deliver industry-leading throughput and transactions per second for RSA- and ECC-encrypted traffic.
Available for Array’s APV x600 Series physical appliances, AppVelocity-S includes all of the capabilities in AppVelocity’s core ADC feature set and adds hardware-accelerated SSL encryption and a purpose-built SSL stack.
Designed for superior security and performance, AppVelocity-S has proven immune to vulnerabilities such as Heartbleed, ShellShock and Man-in-the-Middle and is Array’s go-to solution for supporting HTTPS-encrypted Web sites and applications.
Global server load balancing (GSLB) directs traffic to alternate or better-performing sites to ensure application uptime and optimal response times in the event that either network segments or data centers become overburdened or unresponsive.
In addition, GSLB may be used to equalize traffic loads across geographically dispersed sites and route requests based on proximity to optimize application performance.
SSL intercept supports decryption of SSL-encrypted traffic so that 3rd-party security appliances can inspect it fully, and features flexible deployment options and the ability to implement explicit forward proxy for additional security.
Optional Webroot BrightCloud reputation and web classification services protect users from malicious sites and allow black/whitelisting of sites as needed.
