Account Executive (AE)

Array Networks, Inc. (www.arraynetworks.com), a leader in application delivery and security, is seeking a talented and highly motivated Account Executive that can thrive in the high-value market for application access, security, and optimization. The AE will play an essential role in achieving the company’s ambitious customer acquisition and revenue objectives and must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day to generate interest, qualify prospects, and close sales. Primary focus will be on selling next-generation web application firewall, load balancing and secure remote access solutions to IT and security departments at small to medium-size enterprises within North America.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound marketing generated lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails to intent-based prospect lists
  • Qualify prospects to understand customer needs and requirements, emphasis on small and medium enterprises
  • Close business with the assistance of sales engineer and sales management
  • Develop ability independently close business through effective online demos
  • Create a sales strategy and plan that facilitates closing sales and achieving quarterly quotas
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand prospect database within your assigned territory
  • Team with sales development representatives to build pipeline and close deals
  • Collaborate with marketing to generate new lead and prospect streams
  • Communicate new products and promotions to customers and partners

Qualifications:

  • Proven account executive experience; 4+ years of experience of business development and/or selling networking and security solutions preferred
  • Experience selling into to mid-market/small to medium size enterprises preferred
  • Track record of achieving and/or exceeding quota
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Proficiency with video conferencing, web demonstration platforms and corporate productivity technologies
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and/or similar CRM technologies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical customer audiences
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
